"Return of the Apeman" was renewed R528467 as was "Brute Man" R569739. From when the major studios started to realise the had poverty row pictures that could be exploited for TV they started renewing copyrights. Monograms, PRCs etc from 1943 and before are generally PD, but PD films from these studios 1943 and after are few and far between.
